This is an opportunity to come together, engage directly in the legislative process, and make our voices heard at the seat of state government. Participants will have the chance to meet with elected officials, learn more about the issues impacting our communities, and stand alongside fellow advocates committed to civic engagement and democracy.

Join us for our Quarterly Post Seat Holders (PSH) Business meetings
During these meeting, elected Post Seat Holders, the voting body of MCDC, will address pertinent issues concerning the committee’s responsibilities and goals.
Executive Board Members, Subcommittee Chairs, and others as necessary present reports to attendees. Periodically, guest speakers attend to present presentations.
These meetings are mandatory for elected PSH, but are open to general members as well. We encourage all members and community supporters to participate and stay informed about our ongoing Democratic initiatives in Muscogee County.

Kick-off Dr. John Van Doorn's campaign for Columbus City Council with a casual community bike ride and conversation.
You can ride the whole way, join anywhere along the route, or just come for the food and conversation.
Don't have a bike? No problem. Bikes will be available for rent at Ride on Bikes.
Ride Start: 1:30 pm at Ride On Bikes (Broadway, Columbus)
Light Bites and Refreshments: 2 pm at VFW (Victory Drive)

Join us for a Postcard Writing & Community Listening Session as we come together to share ideas on what our city truly needs and how we can build a Columbus that listens to its people. Volunteers will help write positive, people-centered postcards to neighbors—encouraging voters to learn more about Jaketra Bryant’s vision for leadership that listens. This is a great way to connect, be heard, and help inspire real change right here in our community.
